Job Summary

As a Program Producer, Festivals and Major Events, you will be responsible for the programming, curation, and management of the delivery of festivals, major events, and public programs. This involves developing and delivering new and existing festivals and programs that showcase the best of Sydney and NSW's art, culture, and innovation.

The role requires working collaboratively with teams across Powerhouse to develop and deliver innovative festival and program concepts that engage audiences with contemporary ideas across the applied arts and sciences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver festival and program concepts that highlight the artistic, cultural, and innovative aspects of Sydney and NSW.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective project management and delivery of events.
  • Work with external partners to develop and implement programming strategies that meet the diverse needs of audiences.
  • Manage resources to ensure successful event delivery.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in festival or event production, with a focus on programming and curation.
  • Strong understanding of contemporary art, culture, and innovation, particularly in the context of Sydney and NSW.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and teams.
