Our team is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to work on a $450m Water Infrastructure project in regional NSW.
About the Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for tracking costs, monitoring variances, and controlling expenses during the project life cycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Interpreting specifications and standards to assess their impact on project costs
- Using cost control models to increase profitability by identifying variances
- Analysing actual costs against planned costs and forecasting final costs
- Creating tender event schedules and budget/tender reconciliations
- Quantifying and costing construction work, including quantity take-offs and bill of quantities
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Tertiary or trade qualification in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience on infrastructure projects within the construction industry
