Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Associate Professor in Speech Pathology to join our Faculty of Health at Charles Darwin University. As a key member of our academic team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and fostering excellence in research, supervision, and teaching in Speech Pathology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead innovative research programs in Speech Pathology, with a focus on increasing the credibility and visibility of our Speech Pathology program.
  • Lead the development of Speech Pathology programs at Charles Darwin University, with a focus on innovation and excellence.
  • Establish and maintain strong networks with industry partners, community groups, and other stakeholders to ensure strong community engagement in the Northern Territory and nationally.
  • Develop and lead a program of research in Speech Pathology, with a focus on producing high-quality research outputs and securing external funding.

Requirements

  • PhD or Professional Doctorate in a related field, with a proven track record of research and academic leadership.
  • Established research profile in Speech Pathology, with a strong publication record and experience in securing external funding.
  • Experience in leading the scholarship of teaching and learning, with a focus on promoting excellence in teaching and learning in Speech Pathology.
  • Experience in leading innovative curriculum development and delivery of online education programs in Speech Pathology.
  • Excellent professional teamwork and high-level communication skills.
