About the Position
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Associate Professor in Speech Pathology to join our Faculty of Health at Charles Darwin University. As a leader in the field, you will be responsible for fostering excellence in research, supervision, and teaching in Speech Pathology.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and vision for the Speech Pathology program, driving innovation and excellence in research, supervision, and teaching.
- Develop and lead an appropriate program of research in Speech Pathology, with a focus on increasing the credibility and visibility of CDU's Speech Pathology program.
- Increase relevant networks to ensure strong community engagement within the Northern Territory and nationally.
- Develop and lead innovative curriculum development and delivery of online education programs in speech pathology.
- Lead the scholarship of teaching and learning, promoting such activities within the Faculty of Health.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A PhD or Professional Doctorate in a related field and proven experience in a similar role with an established research profile in relevant discipline.
- Evidence of major original and innovative research activity and outcomes, such as publications, external grants, or consultancies.
- Experience in leading innovative curriculum development and delivery of online education programs in speech pathology.
- Excellent professional teamwork and high-level communication skills.
