About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data and Insights Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Assistance portfolio, you will play a vital role in designing and developing data-driven strategies and analytics solutions to support our products.

In this role, you will collaborate with various teams across the business to identify opportunities to leverage data and drive business performance. You will design and develop analytic solutions across diagnostic, descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics, presenting insights in a meaningful format for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data-driven strategies and analytics solutions to support RACQ's Assistance products.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the business to identify data opportunities that align with business goals.
  • Provide actionable insights using a mix of diagnostic, descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to inform decision-making.
  • Develop and implement analytic solutions, ensuring they are scalable, robust, and user-friendly.
  • Create easy-to-consume reports and dashboards for business leaders to drive informed decision-making.
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts, developing their skills and supporting their professional growth.

About You

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in data analytics or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and implementing descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience with AWS, SQL, SAS, Python, Tableau (or equivalent visualisation software), and other technologies for data management, transformation, and analysis.
  • Well-developed internal consulting, communication, and negotiation skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A track record of mentoring and developing junior analysts to enhance team capability.
