Operational Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational Leader to oversee Bulk Delivery Operations in our Underground (UG) Operation in South Australia.

This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a deep understanding of the UG mining industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of MCU Operators, providing analytical and decision support to the Territory Manager, and ensuring operational processes meet Orica standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient delivery of bulk materials.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team of MCU Operators.
  • Provide analytical and decision support to the Territory Manager on continuous improvement plans.
  • Coordinate logistics and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Orica's safety and quality procedures.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in an operational leadership role within the UG mining industry.
  • Strong fault-finding and mechanical aptitude.
  • Cert IV Trainer Assessor Qualifications or ability to attain.
  • Qualifications in frontline management and project management.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Office Suite Skills.
