Operational Leadership Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operational Leader to join our Underground Operation in South Australia.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams, with a strong focus on safety, discipline, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of MCU Operators;
  • Provide analytical support to Territory managers;
  • Coordinate logistics and ensure operational processes meet Orica standards;
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of UG Charging experience in an operational leadership role;
  • Strong fault finding and mechanical aptitude essential;
  • Cert IV Trainer Assessor Qualifications (or ability to attain);
  • Qualifications in frontline management and project management demonstrated;
  • Knowledge of the UG mining / explosives industry is essential;
  • Effective communication skills written and verbal;
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Office Suite Skills Essential.
