Housekeeping Supervisor Job Opportunity

About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and dedicated professional to take on a key leadership role within our Housekeeping department. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of Housekeepers in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and service. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Allocating and organizing daily room assignments and team responsibilities to ensure seamless operations
  • Performing detailed room inspections to ensure brand excellence is upheld, maintaining attention to detail and high standards of quality and service
  • Supporting roster planning and operational efficiency to optimize team performance and minimize downtime
  • Coaching, mentoring and training Housekeeping team members in line with brand standards to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Responding to guest requests, feedback and solving problems with grace and urgency to provide exceptional guest experiences

You will work closely with your team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain the highest standards of quality and service.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a Housekeeping Supervisor role (luxury or upscale hotel background ideal)
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills to effectively manage and motivate team members
  • Meticulous eye for detail and standards of cleanliness to uphold brand excellence
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment to optimize team performance
  • Clear communication - written, verbal and interpersonal - to collaborate effectively with colleagues and guests
  • A proactive and guest-first mindset to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster across mornings and evenings, weekdays and weekends to meet business needs
