Job Description

As a business analyst, your primary responsibility is to collaborate with senior BAs and insurance product managers to assess technical and commercial viability of change requests. This involves analyzing insurer requests, turning concepts into clear Jira tickets, and leading refinement sessions with developers, QA, and technical BAs to ensure delivery clarity for the Product Maintenance squad.

  • Translate commercial viability assessments into actionable stories for the Product Maintenance squad.
  • Work closely with underwriters and insurer teams to clarify pricing and product changes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in a product-heavy, insurance, fintech, or similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks and writing testable, value-driven user stories.
  • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence; document management experience is a plus.
  • A detail-oriented, analytical mindset with great communication skills.
