In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for delivering safe, timely, and high-quality ore production to the mill.
Reporting to the Mine Production Superintendent, you'll work closely with a dedicated team of operators and collaborate with other underground departments including services, development, maintenance, and projects.This is a leadership role where your decisions directly influence production outcomes.
You'll be on the ground, guiding your crew, driving safety performance, and ensuring operational targets are met.
Your ability to lead from the front, maintain high standards, and foster a strong team culture will be key to your success.Your day-to-day will include:Leading and mentoring your crew to deliver safe and efficient ore productionKeeping the schedule tight and the quality spot-on (grade, size, moisture)Driving safety conversations and improving risk assessmentsWorking closely with other teams to get the job doneSupporting team development and recognising great workYou'll be part of a site that's known for its innovation and teamwork, with a long mine life and a vision of a century of mining together.About youYou bring a strong foundation in underground mining and proven leadership in production environments.
With hands-on experience in block cave and or sub-level cave operation, you understand the complexities of the methods and how to drive safe, efficient outcomes.
Your leadership style is grounded in practical know-how, a commitment to safety, and the ability to build trust and performance within your crew.Demonstrated experience in block cave mining and or a sub-level cave production environment.Strong understanding of underground production environments including automated/remote loaders, crushers and conveyors.A current Underground NSW Mine Supervisor Practising CertificateMinimum 1 year in a Production Supervisor roleAt least 5 years of underground mining experienceFirst Aid, Working at Heights, security clearance and a current Driver's LicenceAt Evolution, as our name suggests, change and transformation is in our DNA.
