Insurance Product Development Specialist

We're seeking a skilled professional to design, develop, and implement group insurance product solutions for industry funds, master trusts, and public sector superannuation markets.

As an Insurance Product Development Specialist, you'll play a key role in creating innovative product solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver high-quality products that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing group insurance product solutions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver product solutions
  • Providing timely resolution of issues and being the central point of contact for initial client and internal technical queries
  • Ensuring compliance with product team governance frameworks

What we're looking for:

  • Extensive experience in group insurance within superannuation (especially industry super or retail master trust super)
  • Previous product development and/or project management experience
  • Strong business acumen with skills and experience across areas including law, regulation, marketing, operations, distribution
  • High degree of initiative and self-motivation to work as part of a small team leading and handling multiple time-sensitive and cross-functional issues
  • Degree or Master's Degree qualified in Law, Commerce, or Finance
  • RG146 certification
  • Deep understanding of group insurance pricing principles
