Key Responsibilities

  • Attend to production machinery breakdowns to minimise downtime.
  • Implement routine maintenance programs to achieve equipment efficiency.
  • Investigate failures and make recommendations to reduce risk and improve systems / processes.
  • Log all work in the maintenance system and ensure relevant documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Perform fabrication jobs such as welding, cutting, grinding etc.
  • Work with a team to meet maintenance goals.
  • Adhere to established health safety and environmental policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
  • At least 5 years post-trade experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Relevant Australian trade qualifications or trade recognition - mechanical/maintenance fitter, fitter/machinist.
  • Basic knowledge of lean tools.
  • Experience in using SAP.
  • Boiler attendant licence, forklift and EWP licences preferred.
