About this opportunity
">We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Composites Technician. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing, assembly, and production of advanced composite products.
This technician will play a critical part in our team, responsible for hands-on fabrication, operation of specialized equipment, and ensuring quality standards are consistently met.
">- Fabricate composite parts and assemblies to specification using lay-up, filament winding, and vacuum infusion techniques.
- Prepare surfaces and apply primers, adhesives, and other required materials.
- Operate specialized equipment and machinery to cut, trim, layup, and finish composite components.
Maintenance of detailed records and documentation of the manufacturing process is also a key responsibility.
A relevant trade qualification or certification in composites, fitting & turning, or a related field would be highly regarded. A current driver's license and forklift license are mandatory.
">To succeed in this role you will have:
">- A minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Composites Technician or in a similar manufacturing role.
- A strong knowledge of composite materials, fabrication techniques, and quality control processes.
