Civil Designer/Drafter Opportunity

Our organization seeks an experienced Civil Designer/Drafter to join our team of passionate engineers, designers, and project managers.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in CAD software, specifically Autodesk Civil 3D and Plant 3D, with a strong understanding of Autocad.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Import & manipulate survey data
  • Produce detailed civil drawings/models including site layouts, earthworks, stormwater, below ground piping, and road designs
  • Export bulk earthwork and material quantities
  • Collaborate with civil engineers to deliver plans for construction
  • Support project teams with documentation, revisions, and coordination of drawings/models
  • Establish and maintain design templates and drawing standards

Requirements:
  • Proficient in relevant CAD software and a strong understanding of Autocad
  • Experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design
  • Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge of safety in design, constructability, operational practices, and relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes
  • Relevant TAFE qualifications, diploma, or degree in drafting, engineering, or design
