Civil Design Specialist

Job Overview:
  • Deliver top-notch civil design solutions across various projects.
  • Support the development of project proposals and fee estimates.
  • Pioneer detailed civil design, encompassing earthworks, drainage, car parks, roads, pavements, and utilities.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, landscape architects, and other engineers at project meetings.
  • Foster effective project management activities, including scheduling and reporting.
  • Assist with bids, proposals, and other business development initiatives.
  • Promote continuous improvement in engineering processes and delivery.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) with NER/RPEQ accreditation.
  • 3+ years' experience in civil design for land development, or brownfield projects.
  • Strong technical expertise in civil design with knowledge of relevant guidelines, Australian Standards, and Local Council Planning Schemes.
  • Familiarity with brownfield projects, water environments, and water resource management.
  • Proficiency in civil design software such as AutoCAD, 12D, Drains, and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience in QA processes and design reviews.
