About the Chocolate Production Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic production environment as a skilled and motivated individual responsible for roasting cocoa beans and processing chocolate according to production standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Chocolate Processing: Roast cocoa beans and process chocolate according to production standards.
  • Efficient Production: Execute the production plan efficiently and maintain high-quality output.
  • Maintenance and Hygiene: Maintain exceptional hygiene and cleaning standards for work areas and equipment.
  • Safety and Compliance: Promote and adhere to WHS policies and procedures.
  • Operational Support: Operate PLC systems and support efficient production practices, including lean principles.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Identify and report maintenance issues for plant and equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills under time pressure.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Knowledge of Equipment: Knowledge of production equipment and technical principles.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Physical Demands: Comfortable working at heights and physically fit for production tasks.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Forklift, elevated work platform and high-risk work licences (or willingness to obtain).
  • Desirable Experience: Experience in engineering or process industries is preferred.
