Chocolate Production Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Chocolate Production team. As a Chocolate Production Operator, you will be responsible for roasting cocoa beans and processing chocolate according to production standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail. Experience with lean manufacturing practices and a focus on continuous improvement in a production environment is preferred.

About the Role

This role involves executing the production plan efficiently, maintaining high-quality output, and adhering to strict hygiene and cleaning standards. You will also be responsible for promoting and adhering to workplace health and safety policies and procedures.

A key aspect of this role is operating PLC systems and supporting efficient production practices, including lean principles. Additionally, you will identify and report maintenance issues for plant and equipment.

Requirements
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills under time pressure
  • Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Knowledge of production equipment and technical principles
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Comfortable working at heights and physically fit for production tasks
  • Forklift, elevated work platform, and high-risk work licences (or willingness to obtain)
