Job Overview

This role entails overseeing and coordinating HV electrical operations across transmission and distribution construction projects. As a linesman supervisor, you will guide and mentor crews to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of overhead and underground infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight and coordination of HV electrical operations.
  • Leadership and mentorship of linesman crews to guarantee safe infrastructure delivery.
  • Monitoring compliance with site safety standards, electrical codes, and project specifications.
  • Daily scheduling, resource allocation, and reporting management.
  • Collaboration with project managers, engineers, and client representatives to ensure alignment with project milestones.
  • Conducting inspections, audits, and ensuring adherence to fatigue management and life-saving rules.
  • Support for commissioning activities and readiness for energisation.
  • Participation in pre-starts, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
Requirements
  • Supervisory experience in HV transmission/distribution on construction or resources projects.
  • Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems (Distribution Overhead or Underground).
  • Working at heights.
  • Confined space.
  • Gas testing.
