Job Description

We are currently seeking highly motivated Electrical Technicians who are interested in moving to Newman and joining our residential teams.

The role involves maintaining all areas of equipment, including commissioning, fault finding and repair. The successful candidate will also be responsible for adhering to specific maintenance processes as defined.

Additionally, the candidate will work effectively with other maintenance and production team members to better understand and manage equipment maintenance and resolve problems impacting on both areas.

Responsibilities include overriding commitment to health, safety, environment and sustainable development, maintaining equipment, working effectively with teams, and facilitating job functions.

Requirements
  • Australia recognised trade qualification – A grade Electrical License
  • Current Australian C class manual drivers licence
  • Well-developed understanding of the operation and maintenance of Fixed Plant equipment
  • Strong experience with an HV Operator competency/appointment (Highly regarded)
  • Technical knowledge of PLCs (AB), VVVFs (Siemens / ABB), networks, instrumentation, HV/LV motors and Citect systems (Highly regarded)
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical, control and hydraulic systems.
  • EWP, Confined Space, Working at Heights Certificates (Desirable)
