Job Role Overview

The primary function of the High Voltage Transmission/Distribution Supervisor is to oversee and coordinate high voltage electrical works across various construction projects. This encompasses leading and mentoring linesman crews to ensure a safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of overhead and underground infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include monitoring compliance with site safety protocols, electrical codes, and project specifications, as well as managing daily scheduling, resource allocation, and reporting.

The supervisor will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and client representatives to ensure alignment with project milestones, conduct inspections, audits, and ensure adherence to fatigue management and life saving rules.

Supporting commissioning activities and ensuring readiness for energisation are also crucial aspects of the role, along with participating in pre-starts, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.

The ideal candidate will possess supervisory experience in HV transmission/distribution on construction or resources projects, a certificate III in ESI - Power Systems (distribution overhead or underground), and relevant skills including working at heights, confined space, and gas testing.

This critical role requires an individual with exceptional leadership and coordination skills, who can effectively manage teams and ensure successful project outcomes.
