Job Title: Electrical Supervisor | Mobile Equipment Maintenance

About the Role

This dynamic and rewarding opportunity reports to the Electrical Superintendent, with responsibilities including:

  • Leading a team of HV Electricians and Communications Technicians.
  • Managing a fleet of 55 x Komatsu 930E-5 machines, Letourneau 1850 Electric Loaders, Caterpillar 785-D Watercarts & ancillary equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with Mine Safety and Inspection Act and Mines Safety Inspection Regulations.
  • Overseeing electrical standards, weekly work schedules, operating standards, procedures.
  • Monitoring asset electrical integrity and compliance to statutory maintenance & inspection requirements.

The role will be offered on a fly-in fly-out basis from Perth, working 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off.

You will have significant experience with the operation and maintenance of heavy mining equipment. A strength of yours is your ability to communicate efficiently, ensuring the development of team members through influencing and relationship management skills.

To be successful in this position, you will need to be suitably qualified to manage all aspects of the department's deliverables and supervisor core routines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Large mobile fleet management experience viewed favourably.
  • WA 'A grade' Electrical Licence.
  • Unrestricted drivers' licence.
  • 1SAP, planning and work management experience.
  • Strong safety leadership and safety event management experience.
  • Positive and motivated people leader with a focus on culture and team diversity.
