This role is a position within the Drill & Blast team at a mine site, focusing on explosives handling, blast preparation, and related safety procedures. The position offers ongoing work on a 7/7 rotating roster.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with blast pattern setup and site preparation
  • Safely handle and transport explosives in line with site procedures
  • Support blast execution and post-blast clean-up
  • Maintain high safety and compliance standards
  • Work collaboratively within a 7/7 rotating crew

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced operator to join the Drill & Blast team at one of our client's Bowen Basin mine sites. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid background in explosives handling and blast preparation, looking for ongoing work on a rotating roster.

Required Skills And Qualifications
  • Previous experience in blast crew operation
  • SSAN clearance and Statement of Attainment for explosives handling
  • Strong safety focus and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work on a rotating roster
  • Standard 11, Coal Board Medical, and current Driver's Licence
