Explosive Team Specialist

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Blast Crew to join our dynamic team.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Operate safely and efficiently in blast pattern setup, implementation, and execution.
- Maintain compliance with statutory and organizational requirements for explosives handling, storage, transportation, and security.
- Utilize ancillary equipment (stemming loader) as needed.
- Foster collaboration with the blast team to achieve operational targets.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous Blast Crew or equivalent experience in Coal or Quarry environments.
- Holding a Standard 11 certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Possessing a QLD Explosives Security Clearance Card or ability to obtain one.
- Background in open-cut mining operations.
- Desirable: RIIBLA201E – Support Shotfiring Operations certification.
- Strong teamwork attitude, effective communication skills, and commitment to safety.
- Good physical fitness and health to meet role demands.
