AI Transformation Lead

Fortescue is driving innovation through Artificial Intelligence.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in AI-based operations transformation, experience in building close relationships with operations stakeholders, and a passion for product management and agile delivery in cross-functional teams.

  • Develop a roadmap and deliver AI software and systems to drive business outcomes.
  • Lead planning sessions to develop business cases for new AI systems and solutions, including value opportunity sizing, delivery model, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Conduct data analysis and user research to define product requirements and features.
  • Build, groom, and prioritize the product backlog, developing user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Define and implement performance metrics once solutions enter production.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in either AI & analytics product development or mine operations technical disciplines.
  • Experience in cross-functional teams and ability to communicate effectively across multiple business areas.
  • A background comprising solid business understanding and high-level understanding of product delivery.
