Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Volunteer Coordinator to join our team, responsible for the effective and efficient recruitment, processing, placement, and support of Volunteers in Community Services, including the Toys 'n' Tucker program, Food & Financial Assistance, Mission & Partnerships, and other Partnership Programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and manage a team of Volunteers to support Community Services programs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase Volunteer engagement and retention.
  • Provide training and support to Volunteers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of Volunteers and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Community Services Managers to identify priority needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Volunteer management and coordination.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
