About This Role

This role is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of our Technology group by advising on and designing advanced ICT solutions for modern, smart projects across Australia.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to innovate based on customer and industry requirements. They will also have a positive can-do attitude and be able to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other disciplines to deliver integrated systems that meet client needs. They will provide ICT design support for offices and projects across Australia for active and passive systems, infrastructure, carrier connections, Audio-Visual services, and related ICT components.

They will also prepare technical documents for planning, specifications and drawings, call for tenders, and provide construction service support including testing and commissioning. In addition, they will maintain strong customer relationships and participate in business development to support project delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide ICT design support for offices and projects across Australia for active and passive systems, infrastructure, carrier connections, Audio-Visual services, and related ICT components.
  • Prepare technical documents for planning, specifications and drawings, call for tenders, and provide construction service support including testing and commissioning.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and participate in business development to support project delivery.
  • Support other Project Engineers to meet program deadlines, manage profitability, assess technical risk, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Provide support and mentoring to junior staff members.
  • Assist clients and internal teams with technical queries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent in networking, computer science, cyber security, or related field.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to deliver bespoke solutions.
  • Experience in the design and delivery of structured cabling systems, backbone fibre & copper, MATV/IPTV systems, DAS, ICN - Integrated Communications Network, IP telephony systems, active networks, wireless design, digital signage, large-scale AV systems, data centres, and defence ICT design.
  • Knowledge of physical and cyber security systems.
  • RCDD, CCNA or CISSP certifications are assets.
  • Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (AS/NZS, IEC, ANSI/TIA, BICSI, IEEE, CSA, OBC, NBC).
  • Current AGSVA Baseline clearance, or ability to obtain (must be an Australian citizen).
