**Job Description:**

The position of Digital Operations Specialist involves leading and developing tactical and strategic initiatives to ensure operational effectiveness of the ICT environment. Key responsibilities include providing insights, advice, and support in the design and implementation of effective architectures for the ICT environment.

You will guide ICT programs, projects, and improvements to align with the enterprise architecture standards, Governance, and industry standards. Additional responsibilities include driving and evaluating operational performance outcomes, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability, and promoting risk management focus.

As a key member of the team, you will lead, motivate, and mentor colleagues to foster ongoing professional development, knowledge transfer, and career growth. You will also develop use cases to recommend enhanced automated processes and bring new ideas to the organization.

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate:

  • Understanding of Essential 8/PSPF and its relation to Government regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, domain, and Azure Administration.
  • Experience in leading work through scrum and related project frameworks.
  • Proven ability to prioritise and manage competing demands, excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced and complex environment.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship building, and change management skills.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate and influence confidently.
  • Understanding and demonstration of the APS Code of Conduct and Values.
  • Industry-related qualifications or certifications.
