Job Description

The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission is seeking a highly skilled professional to join their team as a Senior Officer Regulatory Risk. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering the foundational risk-based framework for the commission's gambling sector group: Casino and Minor Gaming.

As a Senior Officer Regulatory Risk, your primary responsibility will be to assist in assessing and mitigating risks associated with the commission's regulatory activities. This includes developing and implementing policies and procedures, conducting regular audits and reviews, and providing guidance and support to other teams within the organization.

In addition to your technical skills and knowledge, you will also be expected to demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in a relevant field such as law, accounting, or business administration.
  • Proven experience in risk management, regulatory compliance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
