About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the City of West Torrens.

As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and functionality of our council-owned assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining and upgrading council-owned buildings and infrastructure
  • Liaising with contractors and service providers to ensure high-quality workmanship
  • Conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety standards
  • Actioning maintenance requests in a timely and effective manner
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A relevant trade-related ticket or previous hands-on experience in the building and construction industry
  • A minimum Class MR driver's licence
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise effectively with contractors
  • Self-motivation and a high level of initiative and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to perform manual labour and demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude
