
Service Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Front of House Manager to lead daily service operations across a premium, high-volume venue.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and coach FOH teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Oversee floor operations, section allocations, reservations, and waitlist management
- Drive sequence-of-service, table-touches, upselling, and guest recovery protocols
- Collaborate with Bar/Beverage and Culinary leaders on menu launches and service coordination
- Manage labour against budgets; interpret daily/weekly P&L and service KPIs
- Maintain compliance with RSA/RSF, incident reporting, and safety protocols
- Recruit, onboard, and develop team members; run pre-shift briefs and training
- Ensure cash-up, POS, and end-of-day procedures are accurate and compliant
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 2–3 years' recent leadership experience in a premium/high-volume restaurant or bar
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage service standards, and handle guest recovery
- Working knowledge of labour planning, budgets, stock, and POS systems
- Strong wine/spirits and food knowledge with confident, guest-facing communication
- Current NSW RSA (or ability to obtain before start)
- Availability to work a rotating roster incl. nights/weekends/public holidays
