Project Manager for Infrastructure and Construction

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee the delivery of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing site services and interpreting technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project managers by taking ownership of project technical on-site and off-site requirements
  • Critically review client project engineering drawings and specifications
  • Develop project installation documents in conjunction with project managers, construction managers, and project supervisors
  • Work closely with the client's project engineering team, contract engineers, and architectural suppliers to ensure project specification compliance
  • Deliver and manage subcontract shop drawing development, including model constructability reviews, client RFI development, and response management

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar role in a similar industry
  • Site-based experience in an industrial environment
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Proven experience in managing construction projects, particularly in site services
  • Ability to interpret steel fabrication drawings and symbols
  • Thorough understanding of design drawings

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Trade qualifications
  • Drafting experience
  • ERP use experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related area
