  • This role involves preparing detailed cost estimates for infrastructure and construction projects, requiring a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

About the Project Scope

">
  • The successful candidate will have extensive experience with site construction methodologies, including all required resources such as cranes, labour, plant and equipment.
  • Responsibilities will include analysing RFT documentation, scope of works, drawings and project specific specifications, conducting detailed material take-offs, labour, plant and equipment cost assessments, obtaining and analysing supplier & subcontractor quotations, and liaising with internal resources for compilation of site construction methodologies to support detailed cost-based estimates.

Key Responsibilities

  • High attention to detail and accuracy with a positive solutions-based approach.
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritise workloads.
  • Excellent skills with all Microsoft Applications, specifically Excel.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years proven experience as a Construction Estimator for projects in the NSW/Australian market.
  • Strong ability to analyse & interpret project specific RFT documentation, design drawings & detailed specifications.
  • Experience with preparation of detailed cost-based estimates for large scale projects.
