Project Estimator for Infrastructure and Construction

As a leading provider of turnkey solutions in the infrastructure, construction, mining, and ports sectors, we are seeking an experienced Project Estimator to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for a diverse range of projects, including infrastructure and construction initiatives. To excel in this role, you will require extensive experience with site construction methodologies, as well as the ability to analyze RFT documentation, scope of works, drawings, and project-specific specifications.

We are looking for an individual who can conduct detailed material take-offs, labour, plant, and equipment cost assessments, as well as obtain and analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building and maintaining quality relationships with clients, internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates for infrastructure and construction projects
  • Analyzing RFT documentation, scope of works, drawings, and project-specific specifications
  • Conducting detailed material take-offs, labour, plant, and equipment cost assessments
  • Obtaining and analyzing supplier and subcontractor quotations
  • Liaising with internal resources for compilation of site construction methodologies to support detailed cost-based estimates
  • Preparing detailed tender submission proposals and presentations for clients
