Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth
  • Lead and mentor junior and intermediate staff members
  • Oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Contribute to process improvements and help shape the firm's strategic direction
  • Broaden expertise in Australian tax law, AASB standards, and compliance

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Australian public practice
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership or workflow capacity
  • Exceptional knowledge of accounting software, including Xero and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with FYI Docs or similar document management systems
  • Natural mentorship skills with a warm and approachable style
  • Broad industry experience and client base
