This role plays a vital part in supporting individuals to maintain sustainable employment outcomes by providing ongoing mentoring, guidance, and practical assistance.

The job involves:

  • Evaluating each participant's individual needs and aspirations for employment
  • Providing post-placement and on-the-job support to help participants maintain sustainable employment
  • Mentoring participants and offering specialised assistance to address workplace or personal barriers
  • Engaging with the local community, industries, and stakeholders to identify growth and revenue opportunities
  • Monitoring placement progress and communicating risks to relevant team members
  • Analysing participants' reported hours and income, supporting accurate reporting and compliance
  • Maintaining clear and compliant records of participants' ongoing employment and support
  • Communicating proactively with team members regarding job loss, potential job loss, or significant reduction in hours
  • Representing and promoting the organisation at networking events and within the community
