The Australian Football League is committed to developing individual players through a unique football landscape.
As a Coach, you will be responsible for delivering one weekly training session and game-day coaching across three regions.
Your role focuses on implementing fundamental skills curriculum provided by the Pathway coach.
You'll bring energy and structure to each session, providing a positive and inclusive environment, focusing on building fundamental skills, confidence, and sportsmanship in both boys and girls.
This position contributes significantly to the successful operation of our Tasmania Talent Pathway Programs.
\Key Responsibilities:- Support the planning of training and match days.
- Drive and contribute to a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment for players and a positive culture within the region.
- Work with individual players to improve their fundamental skills and provide guidance and confidence in their football careers.
- Oversee the responsibilities of educating players under your charge.
- Passionate about player development and coaching growth.
- Well-developed IT skills.
- Demonstrated personal initiative and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Sound background and knowledge of coaching principles.
- Able to commit to working nights and some weekends.
- A valid Working With Vulnerable People card is required.
- AFL Silver Coach Accreditation or working towards an AFL Coaching accreditation.
