Salary: We offer a competitive remuneration package with a salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description: As a Mid or Senior Lighting Artist at Fin Design + Effects, you will be responsible for designing and creating the lighting and look of computer-generated objects and scenes. You will work closely with CG Supervisors and VFX Supervisors to determine the best approach to solving CG challenges and developing the final look. Your tasks will include creating final CG scene assembly, lighting and rendering of complex shots, as well as creating efficient rendering setups to optimize render farm usage.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you will need to have extensive experience in lighting and rendering within a VFX environment, as well as a broad understanding of modern shading models and in-depth knowledge of PBR. Previous experience performing shot LookDev and Lighting tasks is essential, along with a thorough understanding of the VFX pipeline from modelling through animation, texturing, rendering and compositing. You should also be proficient in writing plug-ins, setting up sequences, debugging simulations and writing shaders.
