We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Recreation Facilities and Services Projects Officer. The successful candidate will play a vital role in building the capacity of local Committees of Management and ensuring our recreation spaces are well supported.

The Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to lead projects that build the capacity of Committees of Management, develop policies, standards, and guidelines for recreation facilities and services, support the planning, design, and delivery of key recreation projects, and build positive relationships with community groups, lessees, and stakeholders.

This role requires strong research skills and the ability to prepare reports to support effective decision making. The ideal candidate will be legally entitled to work in Australia and willing to undergo a police check if successful.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects that build the capacity of Committees of Management
  • Develop policies, standards, and guidelines for recreation facilities and services
  • Support the planning, design, and delivery of key recreation projects
  • Build positive relationships with community groups, lessees, and stakeholders
  • Undertake research and prepare reports to support effective decision making

This is a full-time, ongoing position based in Bairnsdale, with regular travel across the region.
