Job Opportunity

Broadford Living and Learning Centre

As a community development officer, you will oversee the day-to-day implementation of our centre. This role is responsible for operating programs and initiatives to promote accessibility and participation, meeting the needs of the local community.

  • Establish administrative processes to ensure efficient centre operation
  • Develop structures and consultative processes for staff, volunteers, advisory committees, and the community in planning and program development
  • Investigate and identify vulnerable or at-risk community groups to create local support networks through programs and partnerships
  • Provide high-quality customer service respecting diversity and complexity of user needs in accordance with our service charter and standards

This is a permanent, part-time opportunity (0.7 EFT) with flexible working hours. You will be required to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 9am - 4pm and Friday 8am - 3pm, while Wednesday will be closed to the public but open for regular hire groups only.
