Community Development Officer

This is a key role in the delivery of community development initiatives, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the centre and delivering high-quality services to internal and external stakeholders.
About the Role- Develop strategic plans for efficient centre operations
- Establish consultative processes for staff, volunteers, and advisory committees to plan and implement programs
- Identify local needs and create support networks through programs and partnerships
- Provide exceptional customer service aligned with sector principles
- Establish relationships with local community groups and organizations
- Develop and maintain effective administrative procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as community development or management
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
