As a Strategic Recruitment Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our volunteer workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide high-level strategic leadership and direction for the delivery of innovative volunteer recruitment, development, and retention programs and practices.

* Undertake research and analysis to develop programs, policies, and procedures and provide strategic advice on emerging recruitment issues, opportunities, and trends.

* Overview case management of complex and sensitive attraction and recruitment issues and processes and provide expert advice to senior management.

* Lead and deliver recruitment, development, and retention services, advice, and support, including identification and analysis of, and solutions for, complex and sensitive issues and initiatives.

* Develop and maintain efficient, contemporary systems and procedures that support best practice volunteer recruitment and enhance recruitment service delivery.

* Prepare, evaluate, and review complex reports, briefs, submissions, and other correspondence on issues and initiatives in accordance with departmental requirements.

* Build, engage, collaborate, and maintain effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities, support efficient processes, and achieve outcomes.

* Promote and support a teamwork approach by developing an understanding of team roles and working collaboratively to achieve outcomes with a commitment to effective and quality service delivery.

Requirements:

* Knowledge, experience, and/or qualification in contemporary HR management/organisational development and/or organisational psychology and best practice.

* An appreciation of undertaking an organisational development/HR function within a volunteer organisation, or the ability to quickly develop this appreciation will be highly regarded.

* The incumbent may occasionally be required to travel to locations throughout Queensland.
