As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents, while also promoting a positive and supportive work environment for staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring that care is delivered in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure that care standards are met, and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as facilities and lifestyle, to ensure a seamless and resident-focused service.
- Provide education and training to staff on best practice care and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a clinical care management role, preferably in an aged care setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and quality improvement principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
