Job Summary

The Community Services Manager will lead the operational management of direct reports of managers and, in conjunction with unit heads and medical staff, achieve the set Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and financial targets. The role requires demonstrated middle-level management experience in healthcare services/settings, with a minimum of 5 years' clinical experience in a relevant area and 2-5 years' experience as a manager in a similar field.

About the Role

This is a Grade 5 (Management and Administration)/RN Grade 6 classification. The Community Services Manager will uphold Monash Health's Vision, Purpose, and Values while focusing on achieving KPI and financial targets. The role involves operational leadership, management of direct reports, and collaboration with unit heads and medical staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

What You Need

  • A current qualification as a Health Professional (nursing, psychology, social work, occupational therapy, or similar health-related field) or a current qualification in Health Administration/Management
  • Minimum of 5 years' clinical experience in a relevant clinical area
  • Minimum of 2-5 years' experience as a manager or senior clinician in a relevant clinical area
  • Victorian Driver's licence
