Iberdrola is seeking a site-based Renewable Energy Stakeholder Liaison Specialist to be based in Central Queensland on a 10/4 roster.

About the Role
The onsite Renewable Energy Stakeholder Liaison Specialist will play a critical role in the construction of Iberdrola Australia's largest solar and BESS project near Rockhampton in Central Queensland.
The specialist will work closely with the Principal Contractor's Community and Stakeholder Manager, Iberdrola Project Stakeholders, and the Workers Camp Accommodation Operations Manager to ensure effective communication, consultation, and engagement of relevant stakeholders during construction.
Key Activities:
- Develop, manage, and coordinate community engagement events and programs, including internal and external relationship management to support the project during construction.
- Plan, develop, and implement community and stakeholder engagement plans.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with landholders, project neighbours, community groups, and project stakeholders throughout construction.
- Promote Cultural Awareness, Employment, and Procurement Opportunities between Iberdrola Principal Contractors and Traditional Owners.
- Collaborate with the camp operator to ensure effective day-to-day operations of the camp.
- Promote wellness initiatives for workers in the camp.
About You
To be considered for this unique career opportunity, you are expected to have:
- Tertiary qualification in public relations or stakeholder management, or a similar degree.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management or communications on large infrastructure projects.
- Exceptional relationship management skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised and thrive within a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience working a FIFO/DIDO roster and living and working in a construction environment.
