The company is currently seeking an onsite Community and Stakeholder Manager to join their Central Queensland project team on a 10/4 roster.

About the Role

The onsite Community and Stakeholder Manager will play a pivotal role in the construction of Iberdrola's largest solar and BESS project near Rockhampton in Central Queensland.

Working closely with stakeholders, this role ensures effective communication, consultation, and engagement throughout the construction process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing community engagement events and programs, fostering internal and external relationships to support project success.
  • Creating and implementing stakeholder engagement plans to promote positive interactions with landholders, project neighbours, and community groups.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with Traditional Owners and promoting cultural awareness, employment, and procurement opportunities.
  • Collaborating with camp operators to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Promoting wellness initiatives for workers in the camp.

About You

To excel in this dynamic role, we seek individuals with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in public relations or stakeholder management.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management or communications on large infrastructure projects.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills and ability to work unsupervised.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience working a FIFO/DIDO roster and living in a construction environment.
