About This Investment Role

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team in a key role that will oversee the day-to-day accounting and administrator oversight of funds. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality results, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and review of fund financial statements, including agreements on content, planning, and execution of accounts and audits.
  • Operational risk review of distribution calculations to ensure compliance with fund offer documents, internal policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain a robust control environment to mitigate errors and identify global consistency in approach.
  • Partner with clients to meet their requirements and drive efficiency through continuous review of operating procedures and technology improvements.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of investment or fund accounting experience or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (preferred) or Finance.
  • CPA/CFA/CIMA/ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing Australian trust distributions, including TOFA requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail, written, and verbal skills.
  • Accurate and effective accounting skills, including knowledge of GAAP and financial reports.
