Job Title: Senior Security Engineer

The role of a senior security engineer is crucial to our trust and safety team. As part of this team, you will be responsible for leading proactive investigations into account takeovers, coordinated account abuse, bot activity, and emerging threats targeting account integrity.

  • Lead investigations into account takeovers, coordinated account abuse, bot activity, and emerging threats targeting account integrity.
  • Collaborate on defining metrics to quantify risk posture and guide abuse mitigation strategies.
  • Develop threat detection alerts, anomaly signals, and logging strategies to enable early abuse identification.
  • Collaborate across engineering, product, and operations to shape end-to-end mitigations and recommend scalable controls.
  • Partner with analytics engineers to ensure threat metrics are reliable, visible, and segment-able across user tiers and abuse methods.
  • Drive post-incident reviews, support threat modeling for new features, and maintain knowledge bases for common and novel attack vectors.

This position requires a strong background in security engineering, abuse prevention, or Trust & Safety, with a proven record of impact. The ideal candidate will have experience working with product telemetry, detection signals, and the design of abuse-resilient systems.
