Early Childhood Development Specialist
The Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Development Specialist to join their team. As a specialist in this field, you will play a vital role in delivering family-centred, culturally responsive services to children aged 0–9 with developmental delay or disability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a supportive team to deliver high-quality services to families and children.
- Support children to reach their full potential through early intervention and capacity building.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and community partners to provide assessment and support.
- Travel to remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to provide services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in early childhood development and disability.
- Willingness and enthusiasm to travel regularly to remote areas.
- Commitment to culturally safe and family-centred practice.

- Base salary between $3,319.70 - $4,592.80 per fortnight.
