Job Title:

Production Coordinator

The Production Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of production activities. Key responsibilities include ensuring the principles of safety, health, and environment are applied by all employees under their supervision, operating equipment to achieve safety, production, and quality results, and maintaining machinery and equipment to the highest standard.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safety, health, and environment principles are applied by all employees under their supervision.
  • Operate equipment to achieve safety, production, and quality results consistent with management expectations.
  • Maintain machinery and equipment to the highest standard, addressing problem areas in a timely manner and notifying management.
  • Control the use of mobile plant in their care, ensuring operators perform proper service checks and notify management of any faulty equipment.
  • Supervise employees, monitoring performance and efficiency, and manage any crew member not performing to expected standards after coaching.
  • Assist in work permits, ensuring they are completed for high-risk activities and strictly following conditions.
  • Respect policy changes regarding production policies, procedures, and company policies as directed by upper management.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
