**About the Opportunity**

Council is looking for a Supervisor Operations - Facilities to oversee Council's Facilities Department administration, general operational activities, and housing operations.

**This position is based in Dalby and is for a fixed term period until 29 June 2025.**

Reporting to the Coordinator Operations - Facilities, you will be:

- coordinating and overseeing administrative functions across the Facilities Operations team, and in support of Council functions across the region;
- managing the community housing operations across the region;
- managing the operations of the Chinchilla Cinema;
- overseeing Council’s swimming pool operations working with the contracted external providers.

**About yourself**

The successful applicant will have:

- a qualification in Business Administration or be able to demonstrate equivalent related experience;
- high level interpersonal skills, including exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to influence, negotiate and effectively manage conflict, as well as receiving and sharing of information as part of a team;
- proven experience leading and managing teams, developing talent, and coaching for individual performance improvement to effectively achieve required output;
- proven experience in rental management or similar regulatory lead commitments.

This role is full time, working 36.25 hours per week with a fortnightly RDO.
